Teresa's update!

Wait! Don’t go! I’ve got a story to tell you! I have decided to keep a journal here, so not only you can follow my progress but I can as well! I have so enjoyed teaching, zooming and generally doing what I love to do for the past three years! Thank you to all of you! But as you may not know (some of you) I had a nasty fall in the middle of the night in January 2022. Cut my head open and wound up in the emergency room.

Some of you may ask well why disclose this to anyone? Well it’s important and I’ll get back to the “why” in a few minutes! The fall resulted in a concussion, cut to my forehead and a long period of recovery to get over my “trauma.”

Fast forward 18 months and i started to have a few silent (as my doctor and ophthalmologist called them) headaches. Sometimes with or without pain. Now keep in mind, i have a very healthy diet, take lots of supplements and for my age, well I can’t brag! But something wasn’t right. I knew it! But you know sometimes we avoid looking behind the curtain for a lot of different reasons.

Beautiful Iris

THIS IS NOT MY EYE!

But a good friend told me I’d better get my ……to the eye doctor asap and she’s a retired nurse, so i listened.

After my initial visit, i was told that my diagnosis was ocular migraines… but that the doctor wanted further testing, so i agreed to the tests! Two tests later, same diagnosis. Went to see my PCP (primary care physician) and she wanted further testing. Oh boy….. more tests…

didn’t want to do it!

Thoughts of the front load washing machine here!

So my PCP took a look at my vitals and whoooaaaa buddy! She was really upset with me. I was upset with me, but accidents happen! Blood Pressure off the chart, blood sugar the same, gut issues like I didn’t know existed and more! Too many to list here. She started writing prescriptions and made me hang out for a bit until my blood pressure started dropping. So by this time (after calming down) I told my doctor that I had found something that I wanted to try. In addition of course to the RX she had just prescribed.

She knows me well. She looked me and knew that I was going to go home and research alternatives. (I always do!)

So I had heard about these patches, read everything I could get my hands on…the patents… the studies…the testimonials (and there are a lot). I told my husband about these patches and his opinion was …Go for it!…. He is always very supportive. There was one prerequisite however, I wanted him to try the patches himself. He agreed to indulge or humor me, not sure which.. WE ordered the patches. Of course I kept researching in the we hours of the night. Perhaps I was simply having experiencing to stimulation (brain). But I was excited to have them on their way!

By now you all might just be a little curious! Hope you are. In just a few minutes I’m paying a visit to my PCP to check my vitals! I’m a very happy girl! Vitals have returned to normal. Headaches have all but disappeared… One in 3 months.. ( That’s pretty good!)

My husband is ecstatic! He is experiencing resolutions to some issues I didn’t event know he had.. Energy through the roof. (He’s even agreed to paint the bathrooms. (Yay!) Plus are you ready for this?

His beautiful gray hair (what was left of it) is coming back in and at his natural color…black! He’s very very pleased. We are taking pictures… now I’ve just go to get him to allow me to print them here.

I’ll be posting some before and progress photos of my scar healing timeline later. For now. Check out.. The patches… This is the best medical device ever…. and yes it does have FDA approval as a medical device. A lot of our Olympic teams currently use these patches…and countless others…. There are no drugs, no chemicals… just utilizes our body’s on light to activate peptides in our body. Very safe… I’ll be back with more details after my doctor visit today! For now take a look at this!
